About Me

I was called into spiritual direction because I noticed a need in the church to come alongside others and help them draw closer to God. While working on my M.Div. at Tyndale Seminary I researched the importance of knowing your true-self – who you were created to be by God. I have a passion to help others learn more about God by learning how God created them and how they can use that knowledge to connect with him more fully. I also studied shame and the impact it has, not only on us, but on our relationship with God. As I continue my educational journey and my spiritual direction journey, God has equipped me to help those who have experienced spiritual abuse so that they may grow in his grace and experience his love.
I have roots in the Baptist church as well as the Pentecostal church, but I believe that all denominations have something beautiful to offer the Kingdom of God.
I’m married with two children and enjoy a fairly quiet life in the country. In my spare time I love to read, watch movies, and go camping. My favourite place to meet God is while enjoying his creation. My husband and I are avid boardgame collectors and enjoy playing games to connect with each other as well as friends and family.
