About Me

After 25 years as an engineering and technical team leader in telecommunications and electronics, I understand the struggles of daily life, including the need for spiritual and emotional guidance in our lives with Christ as we journey together in a modern and complex world.
God’s calling to spiritual direction and pastoral counselling grew from my day-to-day struggles as a Christian. Like myself, I noticed, that there were many “sheep in search of a shepherd” (Matthew 9:36). Although I had been a member of several church communities, I noticed that a deficiency in spiritual guidance and accountability existed. Providentially, through workplace changes in 2014, the Lord opened the door to pastoral studies.
I have a Master of Divinity in pastoral studies and completed Spiritual Director training at Tyndale University.  I operate The Shepherd’s Way, a spiritual counselling practice that serves Christians of all denominations.
I believe spiritual direction is a “covenant friendship” whereby the director intentionally partners with the directee to guide them in the disciplines of the church to strengthen their relationship with God and the body of Christ. The focus, however, is on the True Director, the Holy Spirit, as the two learn to discern His movements together. My desire is to see fellow believers grow in their relationship with Christ, live in greater spiritual and emotional freedom, and become the person God created them to be.
