About Me

Karen Fletcher is a graduate of the 3 year Emmaus Formation Centre Certificate program for Spiritual Direction. For ten years she worked as Campus Staff for InterVarsity Christian Fellowship at Brock University, pastoring and training students from a variety of denominations. During this time she helped students in their walk with Christ and partnering with His movement on campus. Karen has also served as an International Student Minister at Brock University and in various capacities at two churches. She believes that it is essential for Jesus-followers to tend to their spiritual, emotional and physical lives. As we do this, it has ripple effects in our families, neighbourhoods and world. Robert Mulholland Jr. defines spiritual formation “as the process of being formed in the image of Christ for the sake of others”. Karen has a passion for social justice and for coming alongside others on their spiritual journey whether they are seeking to know God for the first time or have journeyed with God for a lifetime. As she has gone through many losses in life, she journeys well with others who are experiencing difficult times. If you are in a season of doubt, struggle, transition, ministry exhaustion or feeling like there must be more to life with God, Karen will provide a safe space for you. Through providing spiritual direction, Karen will listen to you and at the same time listen for the movements of God in your life. Isaiah 55, “Come, all you who are thirsty”
